## Description

At Leidos Australia, you'll contribute to the design, development, and delivery of naval and maritime platforms, systems, and engineering solutions.

In this role, you will:

- Support the design and development of naval and maritime platforms, systems, and engineering solutions

- Support the development of engineering analysis, calculations, modelling, technical drawings, documents, and reviews under the guidance of experienced engineers

- Work collaboratively across naval architecture, mechanical, electrical, systems, and other engineering disciplines to solve technical problems and develop practical design solutions

- Build your technical capability through exposure to complex maritime projects, customers, and the broader engineering lifecycle

The ideal candidate will have:

- A completed or near-completed Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline

- A strong interest in naval, maritime, or Defence engineering, with an interest in developing a career within the sector

- Proficiency in AutoCAD drawing and modelling, with a high-quality standard and attention to detail

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to apply engineering fundamentals to practical design and integration challenges

- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams

This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and hold, or be eligible to obtain, NV1 security clearance.
