## Description

As a Hardware Test Engineer at Anduril, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company's systems meet stringent testing standards, shipping high-quality products to customers. You will think creatively to solve complex testing problems, improve automation, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics.

**Responsibilities**

- Maintain ownership of test activities in production, ensuring production test flow, and provide hands-on troubleshooting efforts.

- Resolve complex infrared systems issues found during testing.

- Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream.

- Generate test work instructions for technician teams.

- Develop a library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides.

- Maintain and develop software for test automation, data analytics, and report generation.

- Determine root causes of product failures and recommend corrective actions.

- Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams.

- Contribute feedback to early-stage test design.

- Analyze test data and provide detailed reports.

- Optimize test strategies for efficiency and effectiveness.

- Maintain and calibrate test equipment.

**Required Qualifications**

- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

- 3+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.

- Experience with data acquisition and processing with MATLAB, Python, and other programming languages.

- Experience with test automation and report generation.

- Strong root cause analysis skills.

- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Experience working on projects involving electrical, opto-mechanical, and software/firmware systems.

- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Knowledge of infrared systems.

- Experience with cryogenic testing equipment.

- Familiarity with test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, thermal chambers, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition, and measurement sensors.

- Experience with computer hardware communication protocols.
