## Description

We are seeking an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Montréal, Québec. As an engineer, you will participate in various stages of geotechnical studies, including site investigations, design, numerical modeling, and construction support.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare technical service offers

- Develop and manage geotechnical investigation programs

- Develop and manage laboratory testing programs

- Conduct numerical modeling studies, analyses, and calculations to optimize geotechnical design

- Write technical reports, notes, and opinions

- Participate in site visits

- Participate in the preparation and review of plans and specifications for certain geotechnical works

- Manage projects

- Mentor and/or supervise junior staff on projects

- Contribute to the development of relationships with internal and external clients

- Participate in technological innovation and geotechnical development activities

- Contribute to the development of geotechnical expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical) or Geology

- Advanced studies in Geotechnical, Geology, or a related field are an asset

- 5+ years of relevant work experience since graduation

- Good oral and written communication skills in French; proficiency in English is an asset

- Knowledge of numerical modeling tools (PLAXIS, MIDAS GTS NX, GEOSTUDIO, etc.) is an asset

- Field experience in excavation, temporary works construction is an asset

- Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)

- ASP construction card

- Valid driver's license

- Availability to travel to the region for short-term assignments

- Ability to work in a team on multidisciplinary projects and transmit knowledge

- Autonomy, initiative, and concern for technical excellence
