As a Machine Learning (ML) Engineer at KPN, you will play a vital role in the company's digital transformation.

You will work closely with teams within and outside the Data & AI domain to translate complex issues into scalable AI solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing end-to-end AI solutions from idea to production

- Identifying and realizing new opportunities in Machine Learning, AI, and MLOps

- Designing and building machine learning models and algorithms across multiple complex projects

- Developing new AI capabilities for the business and analytical teams

- Improving existing models and solutions

- Actively sharing knowledge within and outside the team

- Supporting colleagues in data science, engineering, and tooling

- Working according to DevOps principles and taking ownership of your solutions

To qualify for this role, you should have:

- Around 5 years of experience in data science, machine learning engineering, or a similar field

- A completed master's degree (or equivalent) in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Econometrics, or Applied Physics

- A solid foundation in ML Engineering, from problem definition to solution implementation

- Experience with developing and managing machine learning models

- Demonstrable experience with complex Machine Learning Engineering projects that go beyond standard solutions

- Good knowledge of Python, Git, Docker, and CI/CD processes

- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus

- A gross monthly salary of at least €5216 and €7843, depending on your work experience
