## Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning on the EA SPORTS FC team, you will research, develop, and integrate Machine Learning models to enhance the player experience.

The FC Generative AI team is working on Machine Learning-based game features that will transform how players interact with the FC game. You will join a cross-functional team to develop and ship features, from ideation to productization.

Responsibilities:

- Research and evaluate Machine Learning models and techniques for various applications, including automatic speech recognition, natural language processing, and procedural content generation.

- Adapt and integrate these models into the game's systems, ensuring they meet performance KPIs.

- Optimize on-device C++ runtime inference systems for target platforms.

- Collaborate with the game team to develop and ship features, sharing knowledge and best practices.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Machine Learning, consulting with internal experts and external vendors.

Required qualifications:

- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- Strong programming fundamentals, proficiency in C++ and Python.

- Experience with optimizing Machine Learning inference systems.

- Proven record of building, deploying, and maintaining Machine Learning applications.

Preferred qualifications:

- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.

- Experience optimizing ML models for constrained environments.

- Familiarity with real-time rendering engines and parallel computing platforms.
