## Description

Join RBC's Global Asset Management team as a Lead Product Manager, focusing on alternative strategies and investment vehicles.

You will drive product innovation, development, and long-term growth strategy for alternative investment products, working closely with investment teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop and manage alternative investment products

- Identify new product opportunities and champion them through the approval process

- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure efficient product launches

- Present product proposals to senior stakeholders and governance forums

- Develop go-to-market strategies and work with Distribution, Marketing, and Institutional Portfolio Management teams

- Monitor the competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and industry trends

- Produce competitive analysis packages and develop product-level business development plans

- Challenge the status quo on existing alternative products and make recommendations for rationalization

- Act as a conduit of knowledge between investment desks and distribution/client-facing teams

- Support the Institutional Portfolio Management team in responding to RFPs

- Contribute to ongoing training sessions for the Distribution team

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree

- 7+ years of experience in the asset management industry

- Deep understanding of the alternatives asset class and US vehicle types

- Experience working across multiple distribution channels

- Strong analytical and communication skills

- CFA/CAIA designations preferred
