## Description

Okta is looking for an experienced Procurement/Category Manager (Technology Sourcing) to join their Strategic Sourcing team.

You will lead and co-lead sourcing initiatives supporting the Technology organisation, including complex, high-value sourcing projects, activities, and contract negotiations for various IT service and product categories.

Responsibilities:

- Gather business and technical requirements and produce documentation in support of RFx events

- Develop internal presentations and business cases to support management approvals of multi-year supplier agreements

- Provide economic analysis of supplier proposals and internal management inquiries

- Identify and detail internal and external risks associated with technology purchase transactions

- Develop sourcing strategies in support of business initiatives

- Work with internal partners to mitigate risks and dependencies

- Build effective relationships with business units, stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams

- Lead and support all aspects of the strategic sourcing process

- Drive supplier performance review meetings and provide input on performance and future needs

- Measure supplier performance against contract Service Level Agreements and expectations

- Use experience and industry expertise to optimise cost, improve service, and efficiency opportunities

- Conduct spend analytics to identify areas of opportunity for streamlining and consolidation of spend

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience in Sourcing and Procurement of Technology

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field

- Strong Negotiation & Legal Acumen

- High Ownership & Velocity

- Strategic Relationship Builder

- Self-Starter Mentality

- Technical Systems Experience (Workday Strategic Sourcing, Coupa, or Ironclad is a strong plus)
