## Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Wealth team, part of our people & investments business at Marsh, based in Hong Kong. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days of office work per week.

You will acquire and enhance your knowledge of valuing liabilities relating to pension and long-term severance benefits under the Hong Kong pension regime, as well as long-term benefits in certain other Asian markets, such as South Korea and the Philippines.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting or leading projects, such as M&A due diligence and implementation projects, retirement benefit review and benchmarking projects, and other ad-hoc retirement/long-term benefit-related projects.

- Providing project management and client management responsibilities, developing actuarial consulting skills, and helping clients resolve their pension needs.

- Carrying out research and analytics to form local views on issues that clients will be interested in.

- Supporting new business initiatives and new business development activities.

- Staying updated with MPFA regulations impacting the financial planning industry in relation to investment and retirement matters.

- Drafting and managing industry surveys, and collating information for use in projects and marketing efforts.

- Providing guidance to and mentoring junior members of the team.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in numerical subjects such as Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, or Finance.

- 7+ years of proven working experience in the retirement pension field.

- Strong communication, analytical, and technical skills.

- Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing, and negotiating effectively with team members.

- Strong personal management skills to plan ahead for foreseeable tasks and understand own capacity for unforeseeable tasks.

- Strong written and verbal skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin will be an added advantage.
