## Description

Priory Hospital Cardiff is looking to recruit a Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join the team. The hospital provides low secure services for males and females with a personality disorder, a learning disability or a mental health diagnosis.

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will play a key part in the recovery of patients, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

Key responsibilities include:

- Accurately observing and engaging with patients to assess their needs and evaluate their progress.

- Monitoring and reviewing Nursing Care plans.

- Evaluating and responding to changes in patients' conditions and needs.

- Dealing proactively and effectively with suggestions and complaints from patients and their families/carers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NMC guidelines and professional practices, evidence of ongoing professional development, and a positive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and quality.
