## Description

As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

Your drive to go the extra mile will make all the difference to our customers' experience and keep them returning to Waitrose.

In addition to your contractual pay of £13.00 per hour (£13.25 after 90 days), you'll receive Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for any time worked between 22:00 and 06:00.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Stock replenishment: ensuring our shelves remain full and products are in the right place at the right time

- Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery

- Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns

- Supporting the wider shop team, including checkout support and managing Click & Collect orders

- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

**Essential Skills:**

- Effective communication skills to work as part of a team and with customers

**Desirable Skills:**

- Experience in a customer-facing role

- Up-to-date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends

- Flexible approach to supporting the whole branch

**Job Details:**

- Contract Type: Temporary

- Hours of Work: 16 hours per week, varied hours across seven days, including early starts, late finishes, evenings, and weekends

- Pay: £13.00 per hour (£13.25 after 90 days)
