## Description

We are seeking a New Model Senior Project Manager to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Raymond, Ohio. As a New Model Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing minor model development cost activities, including BOM maturation, ML communication across HDMA, Design and Business (DB) Cost Correlation, Cost Roll-up/Reporting to ADC and HDMA leadership.

Key accountabilities:

- Lead minor model project management, including roll-up of BOM, understanding key regulation and spec changes on the new model.

- Review and develop cost-based part structures for New Models projects.

- Confirm and analyze cost change reasons by each part for summarization and reporting of overall new model impact.

- Analyze results and investigate cost change reasons.

- Recognize problems/issues with new model development.

- Prepare/develop New Model cost presentations that explain cost/investment to ADC, PSCC, and HDMA leadership.

- Communicate effectively with other groups to establish/report accurate new model costs.

- Lead/support project initiatives or SA's (Situational Analysis) to achieve and improve target KPI's and business plan objectives for expertise area.

- Identify areas of improvement process improvements in support of business plan objectives, and general cost reduction.

- Mentor EX1 associates, provide feedback on work output and quality.

Qualifications, experience, and skills:

- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or Purchasing preferred or relevant experience required.

- 2+ years of relevant experience based on education.

- 1-2 years accounting/finance (cost management) experience preferred.

- New model project model cycle/management experience, strong organizing skills.

- Understanding of Bill of Materials, GML, cost systems, and design change systems.

- Strong communication, both verbal and non-verbal.
