## Job Overview

As a Sales Manager at Stripe, you'll play a key role in driving growth in Southern Europe through new customer acquisition. You'll lead and coach a high-performing team of account executives to achieve ambitious targets.

## Responsibilities

- Lead and coach a team of sales professionals focusing on the SMB segment in Southern Europe

- Develop the team's long-term vision and strategy, managing day-to-day operations and performance against key sales metrics

- Drive new client acquisition and be accountable for results

- Develop and execute deal strategies, including pipeline development and opportunity management

- Coach the team in consultative and solution-based sales skills throughout the sales cycle

- Build and maintain enduring customer relationships, up to C-level

- Inspire, motivate, and enable team members' personal and career development

- Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments

- Participate in industry events to support positive market awareness

## Requirements

- 8+ years of relevant sales experience

- Sales management experience

- Experience in forecasting and managing high-growth businesses

- Ability to thrive in autonomous settings, creating strategy and direction

- Ability to hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales team

- Ability to build executive relationships with customers and ecosystem partners

- Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts in business-relevant terms

- Professional fluency in English and Italian or Spanish
