## Description

Priory Hospital Bristol has an opportunity for a Deputy Ward Manager to join our team on our Acute ward.

As a Senior Nurse, you will lead and support the nursing team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care within a therapeutic environment. You will oversee clinical risks, promote equality and inclusion, ensure safe staffing, and maintain compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating shifts and delivering therapeutic interventions

- Supporting multidisciplinary working and supervising colleagues

- Mentoring junior and student nurses

- Undertaking ward leadership duties and providing clinical supervision

- Deputising for the Ward Manager when required

- Contributing to staff recruitment and retention, promoting a positive culture of learning and professional development

The role requires:

- Active Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council, meeting the requirements of Revalidation

- At least 18 months to 2 years' experience post-registration, with demonstrable expertise within a clinical specialty

- Experience in an Acute setting is beneficial
