## Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at ADAM Audio GmbH, a leading manufacturer of professional monitoring solutions. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for providing firmware code for our hardware products, including evaluation of new technologies, debugging prototype hardware, and ensuring compliance with market regulations.

Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, prototype, and develop products from early sketches to market introduction and maintenance. You will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our embedded projects and refine product specifications.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide firmware code for hardware products

- Evaluate new technologies and debug prototype hardware

- Ensure code suitability for mass production and compliance with market regulations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop products

- Refine product specifications and produce innovative designs

- Plan activities, estimate work, and collaborate to meet deadlines

- Work hands-on with functional prototypes and evaluation boards

Requirements:

- Expert experience with micro-controllers and audio DSP

- Mastery in low-level programming at ARM-based microcontrollers and RTOS

- Experience in C and modern C++ programming

- Experience working with systems with hard real-time constraints

- Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analysers

- Experience with meeting compliance regulations and standards

- Strong ability to analyse and present trade-offs between cost, quality, and development time

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
