Are you a team player with a passion for technology, vehicles, and future powertrains? Do you enjoy varied work tasks, both practical and theoretical, and want to be part of the development of tomorrow's technology? We're looking for test bed engineers to join our facility in Haninge.

As a test bed engineer, you'll work closely with both technology and customers, ensuring that test objects and test cells function optimally throughout the entire test process. Your responsibilities will include preparing, installing, and monitoring test objects, performing calibration, maintenance, and repair of both test objects and test cells. Your work will involve systematic fault-finding and documentation, as well as practical work with test equipment, inventory management, and logistics. You'll have daily contact and close collaboration with customers, making communication and relationship-building a key part of your daily work.

To succeed in this role, we believe you'll need:

- The ability to work independently and in teams

- A strong desire to develop and learn new things

- Experience with practical mechanical work with vehicles, machines, or similar

- Understanding of the importance of following processes and routines, as well as the ability to solve problems on your own

- A quality-focused approach and interest in improvement work

- Good technical understanding of vehicles and their components

- Ability to communicate clearly in both Swedish and English, spoken and written

- Possibility to work according to shift schedules (2-, 3-, or 4-shift)

- B-class driver's license (required)

Preferred qualifications include:

- Post-secondary education in a relevant technical field

- Experience with testing or development in a controlled environment

- Documented experience with customer-facing work

At AVL, you'll become part of a global technology company that's at the forefront of development, simulation, and testing in the automotive industry.
