## Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Disney+ Korea Originals team, driving the development and production of premium scripted and unscripted Korean content that embodies Disney's creative excellence and global storytelling ambition.

**Job Summary**

The Manager, Local Contents will work closely with local creators, producers, and cross-functional partners across APAC and global teams to build a slate of high-quality, distinctive Korean Originals that resonate locally and connect with audiences worldwide.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Identify, evaluate, and develop scripted and unscripted ideas with strong creative identity and global appeal

- Collaborate with writers, directors, producers, and studios to refine story direction, characters, tone, and format

- Guide projects through Disney's development and greenlight process, aligning creative vision with strategic goals

- Oversee all aspects of project execution, from pre-production through post, ensuring creative excellence, efficiency, and brand alignment

- Build and sustain trusted relationships with Korea's creative community , including writers, producers, and talent agencies

**Qualifications**

- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in content development, production, or commissioning for scripted and/or unscripted series at a major studio, network, or OTT platform

- Strong creative instincts and story evaluation skills, with proven ability to identify and elevate projects with both local resonance and global potential

- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects from development through delivery, balancing creative ambition with operational execution

- Deep understanding of Korea's entertainment and production ecosystem, including leading creators, studios, and talent agencies

- Fluency in both Korean and English (spoken and written) required
