## Description

Howden Re is seeking an analyst to join their team, providing analytical support on mergers and acquisitions, public and private capital offerings, insurance-linked security (ILS) offerings, and other financial advisory services for clients.

The analyst will be involved in various tasks, including:

- Preparing company valuations using different methodologies

- Creating company marketing documents and client presentations

- Participating in the origination and execution of M&A, equity, debt, and ILS transactions

- Building detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios

- Preparing presentation materials for client meetings

- Participating in all stages of transaction executions

The ideal candidate will have:

- Prior investment banking experience

- Demonstrated academic achievement and excellence outside of academics

- Excellent written and verbal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Demonstrated ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and under pressure with tight deadlines

- Solid interest in the financial sector

- Excellent PC skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Bachelor's degree with a well-rounded academic background in finance, economics, mathematics, or actuarial science

- Legally authorized to work in the United States

The expected base salary range for this role is $105,000-115,000.
