## Description

Grab Financial Group (GrabFin) is building the future of payments in Southeast Asia. As Engineering Manager II, FundsCore, you will lead an engineering team responsible for designing, building, and operating the Reconciliation and Settlement Platform for fintech foundations.

The team will work closely with other stakeholders to solve core payment system problems and provide top-notch platform capabilities to users. You will need to have payments and finance domain knowledge, solid technical skills, strategic guidance, technical leadership, and people skills.

Key responsibilities include:

- Setting the team's roadmap, planning cycles, and OKRs with product and business partners

- Building reusable reconciliation and settlement capabilities that support multiple markets

- Guiding architecture, design, and code reviews, and contributing code when needed

- Owning production reliability through observability, service-level targets, and incident improvement

- Improving the software development lifecycle by reducing technical debt and using approved GenAI tools

- Aligning product, finance, operations, and engineering stakeholders on project objectives and success measures

- Hiring, coaching, and developing engineers and SETs

Requirements:

- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience

- At least 3 years managing teams of 5 or more engineers

- Hands-on experience with Go, microservices, and cloud platforms such as AWS

- Experience with payments funds flows, including gateways or acquirers, reconciliation, clearing, and settlement

- Experience designing payment integrations or real-time transaction systems with security controls

- Experience setting and improving operational standards for observability, service-level targets, and regulatory reporting
