## Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Practice Nurse to join our team at Fencepiece Road Medical Centre in Ilford, Essex. The successful candidate will be confident to work autonomously within primary care and have an interest in long-term condition management.

**Job Summary:** As a Practice Nurse, you will provide general nursing services, childhood immunizations, cervical smears, and dressings. You will also contribute to patient health by running and managing clinics for conditions such as vaccination and insulin injections. Additionally, you will engage in patient education, offering advice and guidance on health topics, and manage chronic diseases including asthma, COPD, diabetes, and all QOF and LIS.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide general nursing services, childhood immunizations, cervical smears, and dressings

- Contribute to patient health by running and managing clinics for conditions such as vaccination and insulin injections

- Engage in patient education, offering advice and guidance on health topics

- Chronic disease management including asthma, COPD, diabetes, and all QOF and LIS

**Requirements:**

- Valid NMC Registration

- Minimum of 6 months experience as a practice nurse

- Right to work within the UK

- Commitment to evidence-based practice

- Trained on EMIS Web, willing to provide a refresh if needed
