## Description

As a Manufacturing Technology Specialist at 3M, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative people around the world and make an impact by identifying and evaluating manufacturing process and equipment deficiencies, driving solutions, and determining priority and implementing a path to execution.

You will provide guidance and leadership to plant-level personnel in best practices for process and equipment operation, as well as preventative maintenance. Additionally, you will provide support towards work order planning and capital project justifications, determine equipment improvement priority levels and the best path for resolving issues, and use data-based tools and methodologies to support your recommendations.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree or higher and five years of experience in one or more of the following areas: engineering or manufacturing technical field in a private, public, government, or military environment, and five years' experience in heavy industrial operations including equipment maintenance. Prior experience in mineral processing, manufacturing process and maintenance of heavy equipment, and experience engaging with production and maintenance organizations are also preferred.
