## About The Role

We are seeking four dedicated Contracts Lawyers to join our Legal Services team at Islington Council. As a qualified solicitor, barrister, or FILEX, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across services, drafting and negotiating contracts, and providing contracts and procurement advice.

## Main Duties of the Job

The primary function of the post will be to work collaboratively with colleagues across services dealing with drafting and negotiating contracts and providing contracts and procurement advice. You will be working within the contracts team within the legal services department responsible for dealing with both contentious and non-contentious contracts and procurement matters, including identifying potential risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and governance, and resolving disputes arising from contract breaches.
