## Description

As a Staff Experience Designer at Airbnb, you will partner with cross-functional teams to design and build products that empower people and foster emotional connections with the community.

You will play a critical role in shaping Airbnb's presence in EMEA, Latin America, and APAC, ensuring global products feel local and adapting core experiences to regional needs.

Key responsibilities:

- Support and shape the evolution of the Airbnb platform from a design perspective

- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, Researchers, and Writers to define problems and goals, map user flows, prototype interactions, and launch new products and services

- Influence leadership decision-making and define and solve highly complex problems autonomously

- Provide indirect leadership and mentorship for a team of designers

- Anticipate business challenges and independently create product solutions

- Build strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and progressive experience

- 10+ years of experience as a Designer or Design Leader

- Excellent visual and interaction design skills and craft

- Ability to define design direction and process, and lead others through it

- Strong storytelling, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Experience designing platforms and systems, managing and collaborating with research and writing disciplines
