## Description

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team at IQVIA, a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence. The successful candidate will be based in our La Défense office in Courbevoie, France, with the possibility of remote work approximately 2 days a week.

As a Financial Analyst, you will report to the Administrative & Financial Director and act as a Business Partner to support various entities and business units in controlling and monitoring activities and developing their cost/investment strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

**Financial Planning, Forecasts & Performance Management**

- Prepare, load and validate forecasts, budgets and long-term plans, ensuring alignment with business drivers and IQVIA's offer hierarchies and reporting.

- Conduct monthly financial performance analyses (actual vs. plan/forecast), identify key variances and provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.

- Provide cost centre management support, including monthly expense analysis and proactive identification of financial risks and opportunities.

- Contribute to performance management and KPI governance, ensuring coherence, traceability and appropriate escalation of significant issues.

**FP&A Acquisitions / Integration & Reporting**

- Translate acquisition business cases into financial forecasts and plans, ensuring integration assumptions are documented, reviewed and updated.

- Collaborate with finance/accounting teams from acquired entities to align reporting practices, policies and calendars with IQVIA standards.

- Evaluate financial rules and processes specific to acquisitions and drive necessary changes to ensure compliance with IQVIA's finance policies and internal controls.

- Support integration-related reporting requirements, including rapid sensitivity analyses and successive iterations to converge towards group standards.

**Financial Controls, Balance Sheet Validation & Audit Preparation**

- Contribute to robust financial controls through balance sheet validation, consistency checks and financial integrity reviews (particularly during integration periods).

- Ensure financial records and accounts are complete, justified and ready for internal and external audits.

- Prepare and compile support documentation for financial deliverables: analyses, reconciliations and key assumptions.

**Systems, Tools & Process Administration**

- Coordinate activities related to the administration and effective use of financial systems and planning/reporting tools (e.g., SAP and other FP&A tools).

- Support end-to-end financial controls required for system integration (including SAP): coordinate inputs, mappings/bridges and validate outputs during the transition phase.

- Maintain an in-depth understanding of internal client needs and continuously improve processes to meet or exceed them.

**Business Partnership & Communication**

- Participate in business reviews and regular meetings with cost centre managers and operational leaders to discuss forecasts and budgets, highlight major issues and propose corrective actions.

- Proactively escalate issues and formulate structured recommendations to management, balancing speed, reliability and control requirements.

- Perform other tasks assigned in line with the role and company needs.

**Profile:**

- University graduate with a Bac+5 degree in financial analysis, management control or accounting,

- Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A/business control in an international industrial, service or consulting environment,

- Good knowledge and mastery of Oracle Hyperion solution,

- Practical experience with artificial intelligence in an FP&A context,
