## Description

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Frontend Platform and Navigation squads. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting clear expectations, delegating effectively, coaching and developing team members, and improving how teams work.

Responsibilities:

- Lead two distributed engineering squads, focusing on performance, delivery, and customer outcomes

- Develop senior engineers, partner with Product and Design, and improve team workflows

- Use AI regularly in management work to synthesise research and feedback, inform roadmap decisions, and streamline coordination

- Own hiring and team planning, aligning team capacity and skills with product priorities

- Partner with Product, Design, and engineering leaders to set priorities and resolve dependencies

Requirements:

- Significant experience managing senior engineers and building healthy teams

- Strong technical foundation in modern web or frontend systems

- Track record of turning ambiguous problems into clear priorities and measurable results

- Strong product and customer judgement, with ability to connect engineering investments to user outcomes

Nice to Have:

- Experience with React, TypeScript, or comparable large-scale frontend ecosystems

- Experience leading a developer platform team or delivering multitenant SaaS

Compensation & Rewards:

- Base compensation range: EUR 133,600 - EUR 160,320
