## Description

We are seeking an Internal Medical Translator/In-house Linguist (Korean to English) to join our team at IQVIA Language Solutions.

As an Internal Medical Translator/In-house Linguist, you will be responsible for linguistically and culturally interpreting written material in a way that maintains or duplicates the structure and style of the original text, while keeping the ideas and facts of the original material accurate.

Responsibilities:

- Linguistically and culturally interpret written material

- Maintain or duplicate the structure and style of the original text

- Keep the ideas and facts of the original material accurate

- Build strong relationships with the IQVIA Translations Services team

- Update or improve glossaries, Translation Memories, Style Guides, and other internal assets

- Identify gaps in instructions or external issues that may affect client commitments

- Proofread translated texts for terminology, grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy

Requirements:

- Native speaker in English

- Fluent in Korean

- At least 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents

- A tertiary or university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 3 years of translation experience OR no university degree and at least 5 years of translation experience

- Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools
