## Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Senior Software Engineer to join our high-performing Execution Services Technology Team.

This role will provide technical leadership across mission-critical trading platforms, focusing on order management systems, low-latency infrastructure, production stability, and platform modernization.

The ideal candidate brings strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on production support experience, architectural strength, and a passion for mentoring teams in a high-performance environment.

### Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and support of critical trading platforms, providing technical leadership for low-latency and high-availability systems, and driving platform modernization initiatives.

- Act as a senior escalation point for production incidents, troubleshoot complex performance and stability issues, and drive improvements in system scalability, resiliency, and operational excellence.

- Partner with global teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions while mentoring engineers and promoting strong engineering standards, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

### Requirements

- 8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in financial services or other high-availability environments.

- Strong experience with distributed, event-driven & low-latency systems and a solid background in systems design, performance optimization, and production support.

- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and solve complex production issues.

- Strong communication & problem-solving skills and experience mentoring engineers and working across cross-functional teams.

- Experience with order management systems (OMS) or trading infrastructure.

- Familiarity with StreamBase, Solace, Tibco, SoupTCP, or similar technologies.

- Experience modernizing legacy systems and designing APIs.

- Exposure to test automation and reliability-focused engineering practices.
