## Description

Freshfields LLP is seeking a MENA Chief Operating Officer & Director of Finance to lead business performance, financial results, and transformative initiatives in the MENA region.

The successful candidate will be a key strategic operational and financial leader, driving business performance and financial results, and providing guidance to the MENA Managing Partner.

Responsibilities:

- Develop a broad and deep understanding of the MENA region's practices, operations, market, and competitive position

- Drive business transformation and innovation efforts for the firm in the MENA region

- Deliver actionable financial analysis and reporting for the MENA region

- Lead the firm's regulatory, governance, and operational risk agenda across MENA

- Develop and establish operating policies and direct the firm's MENA office operations

- Play a key role in connecting the dots across the MENA partnership and business service leadership

- Serve as a key representative for the MENA region across the global firm

- Work with existing operational colleagues to manage the firm's MENA real estate portfolio

- Oversee and implement cost control strategies to optimize operational efficiency

- Manage the firm's local business services teams

- Champion a positive people experience by fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 10 to 15 years of broad-based business operations leadership experience

- Demonstrated record coordinating business functions and capabilities

- Proven success leading enterprise change management

- Strong business, financial, and commercial acumen

- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills

- Superior presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills

- An undergraduate degree is required; MBA or other advanced degrees preferred
