## Description

We are seeking a World Designer to join our team in Annecy, France on a full-time basis. The World Designer is responsible for the quality, consistency, and evolution of the global data that constitutes the World.

You will work closely with the World Director to design, assemble, transform, and maintain the data, rules, and methods that produce a coherent, credible, and project-specific World.

Key responsibilities include:

- Designing, assembling, transforming, and maintaining global data for the World

- Defining rules to generate a coherent, immersive World adapted to project needs

- Collaborating with the World Director, World Lead, Lead Level Designer, and Lead Level Artist to ensure data meets production requirements

- Working with Game Designers, Gameplay Programmers, Technical Art teams, and procedural specialists to guarantee World data aligns with project needs

- Ensuring the structural quality of the World delivered to teams

Requirements:

- Significant experience in World data design, generation, or manipulation for video game productions

- Excellent understanding of large-scale World building challenges

- Proficiency in World Machine and ability to adapt to new tools

- Strong understanding of procedural generation principles and rule design

- Ability to analyse consequences of global changes on project disciplines
