## Description

As a Failure Analysis Chemical Technician in Singapore at HP, you will have the opportunity to perform analysis and testing on inks and components using standard chemical and laboratory instrumentation for R&D, product development, and manufacturing activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Performing analysis and testing for inks and components

- Working with partners to solve analytical requests and communicate results

- Ensuring adherence to good laboratory practices

- Developing the capability of the current instrument set

- Handling unknown and non-routine failure analysis issues

- Working with engineers to conduct and develop new analysis methods

- Continuously seeking improvements to test methodology and tools

- Ensuring tooling up-time and availability

- Responding to daily tooling issues

- Optimizing spares in inventory

- Communicating effectively on equipment reliability issues

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

- A diploma or degree in chemical engineering with related experience

- Experience operating analytical lab equipment such as PH/Conductivity, Tensiometer, UV Vis, Nanotrac, LCMS, GCMS, ICP OES

- Knowledge and experience working with chemicals

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
