## Description

We are seeking an IT Manager - Business Systems to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Marysville, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the streamlined operation of the IT HR/Admin Unit in alignment with the business objectives of the GBA Department and the AHM IT Business Unit.

The IT Manager - Business Systems will plan, coordinate, and direct the activities of the HR/Admin Unit, providing administrative direction and support for daily operational activities. They will work closely with decision makers across the organization to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions and/or services for all aspects of the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

- Partnering with the Department Manager to shape and advance the strategic vision and direction of AHM IT

- Building and strengthening strategic partnerships across North America and Honda Global organizations

- Leading high-performing IT teams and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

- Providing leadership and governance for the HR/Admin application portfolio

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems / IT, Electronics, or a related STEM field of study

- At least 10 years of relevant IT experience in core business systems, preferably in an enterprise environment in the manufacturing industry

- Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving organizational change

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

- Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills

Preferred qualifications include:

- Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise Human Resources and Administration IT systems

- Strong understanding of enterprise application lifecycle management, technology roadmaps, governance, and service delivery best practices

- Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives and digital transformation programs
