## Description

As a 1:1 Individual Student Aide Paraprofessional with The Menta Education Group, you will provide targeted teaching and support to students in the classroom.

**Responsibilities:**

- Monitor an assigned student's academic, functional, behavioural, or safety concerns under the supervision of licensed professional staff.

- Prepare and adapt materials for classroom use and maintain classrooms and materials.

- Inform clinical staff of social, emotional, or behavioural concerns.

- Implement and maintain behaviour program policies and data.

- Coordinate with administration and staff to ensure consistent application of academic and therapeutic programs.

- Fill in as needed throughout the program.

- Maintain awareness of other students in the program.

- Maintain confidentiality of students and records.

- Attend staff meetings and in-service training.

- Report unusual incidents or safety concerns.

- Support administrative policies and goals.

**Qualifications:**

- Paraprofessional Certification is preferred.

- Ability to operate tactfully under stress.

- Flexibility to change routines.

- At least 23 years of age.

- Ability to work with high-risk special needs students.

**Compensation & Benefits:**

- Salary range: USD 17.97-27.06 per hour.
