## Description

As a Data Scientist-Mid at Iron EagleX (IEX), a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), you will support Defense & Intelligence Programs at Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) located at Ft. Bragg, NC.

Your role involves contributing to specific programs and projects, developing data-driven solutions to complex business challenges, and utilizing advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in data.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing data-driven solutions to complex business challenges

- Utilizing advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in data

- Evaluating the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and gathering techniques

- Using predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experience, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes

- Working with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions

- Developing processes and machine learning-based tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy

Requirements:

- Current DoW TS/SCI Clearance required

- 5+ years of related experience, including academic or internship-based data science work

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, or related field

- Proficiency in Python and Bash, including API development and data manipulation

- Familiarity with SQL and large-scale systems such as PostgreSQL, Hive, or Trino

- Basic understanding of ML concepts and familiarity with Flask or FastAPI
