## Description

We are seeking a Debtor Responsible to join our team at Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche, a 5-star hotel that combines French luxury with a Moroccan soul.

As a Debtor Responsible, you will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and recovering debts owed to the establishment.

Key responsibilities:

- Daily monitoring of debtor accounts and ensuring timely settlement

- Controlling invoice compliance, supporting documents, and billing conditions

- Following up with clients and tracking payment commitments

- Identifying overdue debts and implementing appropriate recovery actions

- Managing account reconciliations and client ledger postings

- Analysing discrepancies, anomalies, or disputes related to invoices and coordinating resolution with relevant departments

- Collaborating closely with Finance, Commercial, Reservations, Reception, and Sales teams to ensure effective account monitoring

- Preparing debt reports, recovery reports, and performance indicators for management

- Ensuring adherence to internal procedures related to credit, billing, and debt recovery

- Participating in preventing risks associated with debt and contributing to continuous improvement of credit management processes

- Maintaining professional and constructive communication with clients and partners

Requirements:

- Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Management, or similar field

- Experience in a similar role, ideally in the hospitality sector

- Strong understanding of billing, client accounting, and debt recovery processes

- Attention to detail, organisational skills, and analytical abilities

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments

- Proficiency in computer applications and hotel/financial management systems
