## Description

As a Senior QA Lead in Test Engineering, you will shape the performance testing strategy for robust and scalable backend systems that power critical financial applications on a multi-dealer FX platform.

You will lead a team of QA engineers focused on performance testing, applying your understanding and expertise in performance testing methodologies to ensure high-quality, stable releases that meet non-functional requirements.

Key responsibilities:

- Design and execute comprehensive performance test suites including soak, load, stress testing, and throughput analysis.

- Develop and maintain NFR calculations and performance benchmarks for trading systems.

- Drive the development of test engineering tooling using Java for the entire QA organization.

- Work closely with multi-functional teams to deliver innovative testing solutions that meet the evolving needs of the financial industry.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a QA engineer with performance testing focus, with at least 8-10 years in a senior testing role, preferably with an exchange, multi-dealer FX platform or a top-tier bank.

- Expert-level proficiency with performance testing tools such as Gatling and JMeter.

- Strong Java development skills to build test engineering tooling, test doubles/simulators, and test reporting services.

- Experience with Spring framework for building test reporting services and other test tooling.

- Understanding of Kafka, Redis, ELK stack, Datadog for monitoring and analyzing performance metrics.

- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting performance testing results to identify bottlenecks.
