## Description

At Soho House, a Runner plays a vital supporting role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of service between the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Your main responsibility is to assist the waiting staff and make sure the member gets a superior experience. You will deliver food orders from the kitchen or drinks orders from the bar to members' tables, acting as a point of contact between the kitchen/bar and the floor.

Key duties include:

- Bringing food and drink quickly from the kitchen/bar to its respective location in the restaurants and delivering to members

- Maintaining a spotless, pristine work environment

- Providing service to and being accountable for an assigned section

- Developing relationships with members to provide personalized service

- Polishing cutlery to ensure they are ready for service

- Preparing any additions to tables in advance

- Performing opening and closing procedures

- Ensuring all service equipment is handled carefully and stored correctly

- Attending regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about any menu changes and specials

## Skills

### Required
- Excellent food and beverage knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
- Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software

### Nice to have
- 2-3 years in a similar high-end dining environment
- Wine service
