The Health Safety & Wellbeing Lead is based out of our Barcelona Office. Excluding travel, this is an in-office position, and the role holder can expect to travel ~20% of the year across to the EMEA and APAC regions.

The successful candidate will serve as the certified technical practitioner (Técnico de PRL) for our local operations in Spain, while supporting our broader global portfolio health and safety initiatives focusing primarily on EMEA, with ad-hoc support for other global locations.

- Establish, review, and conduct workplace risk assessments, inspections, ergonomic evaluations, and safety audits across local facilities.

- Maintain occupational health and safety documentation, ensuring full audit-readiness and liaising with local labor authorities when required.

- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, performing root-cause analyses and recommending measures to prevent recurrence.

- Organize and deliver safety drills, emergency response plans, and required safety training for local staff.

- Coordinate with local worker representatives (Delegados de Prevención) or Safety Committees as required by law.

- Oversee contracts, performance, and service deliverables with External Prevention Services (Servicios de Prevención Ajenos - SPA) for mandatory Health Surveillance (Vigilancia de la Salud) and specialized technical evaluations.

- Manage relationships with external occupational health consultants, medical service providers, and regional safety vendors across international jurisdictions.

- Support the rollout and monitoring of health and safety standards across EMEA, providing ad-hoc technical support to other global locations.

- Track, analyze, and maintain accurate records of H&S incidents, risk evaluations, and vendor deliverables.

- Prepare metric reports and trend analyses for senior management to drive continuous improvement in workplace safety.

- Partner closely with the People (HR) and Benefits teams to align health and safety objectives with corporate health and wellbeing initiatives, medical accommodations, and absenteeism management.

- Support the rollout of health awareness workshops, stress management resources, and e-learning materials in coordination with HR and global benefits programs.

**Requirements:**

- Official Spanish Qualification: Certified Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (or official Master’s degree in PRL recognized in Spain) covering Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics/Psychosociology.

- Experience: Practical experience implementing Spanish H&S regulations (Law 31/1995) and managing day-to-day operations with External Prevention Services (SPA) in a corporate or multi-site environment.

- Consultant & Vendor Oversight: Hands-on experience working directly with external H&S suppliers, occupational health providers, and technical vendors.

- Data & Reporting: Ability to analyze H&S metrics, maintain legal documentation, and generate reports for management.

- Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) is essential.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively alongside HR, Benefits, and Facilities teams.
