## Description

As a Backend Engineer in the Data Feeds Team at YipitData, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining super-scalable data pipelines, data systems, and architecture.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines for seamless processing

- Ensure high availability, stability, and reliability of existing data systems and services

- Construct and refine expandable, high-performance data architecture

- Provide high-quality data services to internal users

- Design and implement data functionalities with intuitive data visualizations

- Integrate and maintain collaborative data with third-party clients

- Work with global teams to enforce data governance, security, and compliance

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from a top-tier institution

- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience

- Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals with core data structures and advanced algorithms

- Excellent in one of the following languages: Python / Golang / Java

- Proficiency with messaging platforms and relational/NoSQL datastores

- Experience in architecture and developing large-scale distributed systems

- Familiarity with microservice architecture, API gateway patterns, and service observability

Nice to have:

- Knowledge of security best practices, authentication/authorization, and performance tuning for high-traffic systems

- Knowledge of AI agent/harness, focus on how to use AI to improve work efficiency or restructure work patterns

- Experience with DevOps practices
