## Description

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to join our Revenue Cloud Rating team, a newly formed engineering team inside Salesforce's Revenue Cloud organization. The team is rebuilding an event-driven microservices platform on Salesforce's own infrastructure to rate complex, usage-based pricing at high volume and low latency.

As a Member of Technical Staff, you will design, build, and operate backend services within our Java-based, event-driven microservices architecture, with AI as a core part of your development workflow to deliver secure, optimized, high-quality code. You will make sound technical decisions with incomplete information as the team learns and builds in parallel, and critically evaluate code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.

Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and operate backend services within our Java-based, event-driven microservices architecture

- Make sound technical decisions with incomplete information

- Critically evaluate code for correctness, quality, security, and performance

Requirements:

- 4-5 years of backend Java experience, including building and operating microservice and event-driven architectures

- Strong tolerance for ambiguity, with the judgment to work independently and make decisions as a team and product transition into a new organization

- Hands-on experience with AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) as part of your regular workflow
