## Description

As a Registered Nurse at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with departmental requirements and state and specialty standards.

You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assessing patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

- Performing procedures, monitoring, and other functions as ordered by medical providers, and ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in patients' medical records.

- Administering prescribed medications, monitoring patients for therapeutic responses, and taking appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.

- Providing exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.

- Educating patients, families, and caregivers about patients' medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.

Requirements:

- Current licensure in Nevada as a Registered Nurse.

- Demonstrated current RN experience in Burn Services/Care.

- Quality communication skills with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

- BCLS certification.

- CCRN certification preferred.

- Ability to participate in considerable walking and standing, moderate lifting, and exposure to patient elements and handling of emergencies and critical patient incidents.

- 1+ year of acute care experience.
