## Description

NVIDIA is seeking a software engineering manager for its Windows display driver team. The team is responsible for rendering images onto various screens, including gaming monitors, laptop displays, TVs, and medical displays, serving both consumer and professional markets.

The successful candidate will lead a team of 5-10 system software engineers to drive new feature development and general support for GPU device drivers. Key responsibilities include:

- Balancing priorities among end-user, partner, OS, and chip bring-up requirements

- Developing ambitious but realistic engineering plans aligned with those priorities

- Contributing to the design, development, and implementation of high-quality, robust kernel mode device drivers

- Coaching engineers to increase their technical and leadership skills

- Collaborating with teams across software, hardware, QA, marketing, and release planning

Requirements include:

- BSEE/CS or equivalent experience

- 6+ years of experience in developing system software or equivalent, 2+ years managing software developers

- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

- Consistent record of leading software projects with interrelated dependencies in a dynamic development environment

- Low-level operating system knowledge, familiarity with development on prototype hardware, experience in memory/resource management in real-time systems

Familiarity with the following knowledge domains is desirable:

- Display subsystems, standards (e.g., HDMI, DP, USB-C), and technologies (e.g., colorimetry, HDR, VRR, video processing)

- Windows device driver development and the Windows display pipeline

- Chip verification and bring-up

- NVIDIA GPU programming
