## Description

Job Title: Spectrum Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Regulatory team at Astranis. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on hard problems and contribute to the development of spectrum resources for Astranis.

Your primary responsibilities will include learning about spectrum management, how the FCC licenses spectrum, the International Telecommunication Union's role, and how satellite companies apply for the ability to launch satellite systems through these processes. You will also learn how to perform RF interference analyses to determine how Astranis satellites can share with other systems.

Requirements:

- Completion of 2nd year of bachelor's in engineering. Preferably electrical, space focused or aeronautical.

- Interest in the intersection of legal with engineering.

- Strong drive to make things happen. Self-starter.

- Able to move work forward while still having some questions!

Bonus:

- More years completed in engineering school; class in satellite communications

Base pay for this position is $29.00 per hour.
