- Gathering feedback through DFx, yield issues, and repair center activities to improve workflow efficiency, analyze system assembly gaps, study cosmetic appearances, and identify improvement opportunities

- Reviewing automation options, suggesting approaches for reducing waste and cutting costs, recommending technological solutions, product design improvements, and workspace layout changes to ensure high quality and efficiency

- Managing the acquisition of specialized equipment, materials, and other components, ensuring they meet intended use, specifications, and quality standards

- Developing and implementing automation solutions for our manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and deploy automated systems that improve production capabilities

Requirements include:

- A bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

- 8+ years of proven experience in developing and implementing automation solutions in a manufacturing environment

- Validated mechanical/thermal architecture mentality, expertise in GD&T, tolerance analysis, and 2D drawing, with a critical focus on manufacturing risk

- Good understanding of commonly used equipment in manufacturing, familiar with electrical or electro-mechanical components, and PCBA-related manufacturing processes

- Effective problem-solving skills, technical and quality critical, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data proficiently in SPC, 6 sigma, quality control, CpK, and PPAP

- Knowledgeable in DFM, DFA, DFx, manufacturing cost breakdown, and accurately predicting production performance

- Proficiency in CAD software, with Creo preferred, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in English, with flexibility to travel

If you thrive in a sophisticated environment, with a willingness to roll-up your sleeves and get hands-on, we seek a self-starter and leader with a deep sense of dedication.
