## Description

Electronic Arts is seeking a Lead Server Engineer to join their EA SPORTS FC Mobile Shanghai team. As a Lead Engineer, you will play a critical role in the system architecture design process, leading a team of engineers and owning the technical design and implementation of foundational modules and critical services.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain server-side code and ensure robustness.

- Design and implement server architecture and frameworks for feature development.

- Oversee server-side tasks and develop tools for healthy game server operation.

- Manage projects and tasks related to server architecture implementation.

- Troubleshoot complex server-related technical issues.

- Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.

- Lead and inspire a team of software engineers.

- Mentor and train team members for skill development and career growth.

Qualifications:

- At least 8 years of server development experience, including 3+ years of team management.

- Proficiency in Java, C++, or Go.

- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, WebSocket).

- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres), NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and in-memory data stores (Redis).

- Familiarity with container and serverless technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience in Linux platform development.

- Version control experience with Git and Perforce.

- Excellent debugging capabilities.

- Experience in large online game development.

- Agile/Scrum methodology familiarity.

- Proficient in reading and writing English documents.
