## Description

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Asset Services team in Kuala Lumpur.

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Asset Services processes.

Responsibilities:

- Understand the processes' functions and objectives across different Business Areas

- Provide ideas and solutions to simplify complex processes

- Monitor and update internal error logs in a timely manner

- Participate in and execute the Emergency Escalation Plan for Operations Teams

- Share best practices across team members related to Asset Services processes

- Manage self-efficiency and minimize overtime

- Engage with stakeholders, clients, and other relevant parties

- Initiate process improvements

Requirements:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Business Administration

- At least 1 year of experience in a relevant Securities/Asset Services field

- Broad understanding of Corporate Action event processes

Skills:

- Good interpersonal and networking skills

- Proficiency in MS Office

- Numerical and analytical skills

- Leadership skills

- Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively

- Fluency in English

- Experience in producing reports

- Management skills and ability to initiate improvements

Additional skills that would be beneficial:

- Knowledge of Trade, Settlement, Direct Custody and Clearing, Cash Management, and their links to Asset Services under Securities Services
