## Description

We are seeking a Senior Risk Associate to join our Risk Management team, focusing on credit card intent. You will analyze customer transactions to ensure they received the correct credit decisioning by comparing transaction data against documented credit policies. Your findings will help prevent potential customer and business losses.

Responsibilities:

- Perform testing of applications, line increase decisions, and authorizations to ensure adherence to credit policy

- Manage testing schedules to meet established timelines

- Analyze data from multiple sources and document findings

- Develop strong relationships with Business Teams, Data Providers, and Risk Partners

- Identify and implement new testing strategies for efficiency

- Escalate issues and support remediation efforts

- Communicate testing results to senior management

- Support production of management reports and internal assessments

- Participate in special projects as needed

This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence at your designated office location.

Basic Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- At least 1 year of experience in Transaction Testing, Compliance Testing, Risk Management, or Project Management

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in Transaction Testing, Compliance Testing, or Risk Management

- 2+ years working with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

- 1+ year of experience in financial services

- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a quantitative field

The salary ranges for this role are:

- McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100

- Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100

This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives. Capital One offers a comprehensive benefits package.
