## Description

We are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Heol Don Care Home in Cardiff. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for our residents.

**Job Summary:** Heol Don Care Home is a modern, purpose-built facility providing residential, respite, palliative care, and dementia care for the elderly. We offer a range of amenities, including sensory gardens, a hair salon, and an on-site cinema.

**Responsibilities:**

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with other housekeeping and maintenance staff

- Ensure residents are kept happy by vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing, and generally maintaining communal areas and resident bedrooms

- Maintain housekeeping stocks for day-to-day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor

**Requirements:**

- You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment

- You are comfortable multitasking and working with other teams to ensure residents are kept happy in their home
