## Description

We are seeking a full-time locum Consultant in Rheumatology, based at Kingston Hospital, to provide maternity leave cover for 12 months. The successful applicant will be required to join our plans to extend our outreach services and will spend part of their time in Community-based clinics. Inreach work and ward referrals will be shared within the team.

The Rheumatology department at Kingston Hospital has been at the forefront of developing community-based services and operates outreach clinics in various locations. We are supported by an excellent MSK radiology service and have a well-established MDT that meets regularly.

As a locum Consultant, you will be motivated and enthusiastic in moving the department forward and developing your sub-specialist interests. You will be encouraged to take part in research, quality improvement, and innovation.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Join our plans to extend outreach services

- Spend part of your time in Community-based clinics

**Person Specification:**

- GMC registered with license to practise

- CCT in Rheumatology and on GMC's Specialist Register

- MRCP

- Current wide range of general Rheumatology

- Joint injections

- Experience in managing patients on Biologics

- Evidence of effective leadership

**Terms and Conditions:**

- Fixed-term contract for 12 months

- Full-time working pattern

- Salary: £113,565 to £150,569 per annum
