## Description

The AI Operations and Enablement Role drives horizontal AI operations and enablement across organisations, helping teams advance AI efforts in alignment with the Chief AI Transformation & Simplification Officer's strategy.

The role builds operating mechanisms that connect horizontal organisations with people, capabilities, and resources needed to adopt AI, while supporting program management for priority initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

- Plan and manage a portfolio of engineering operational programs

- Provide technical guidance and support to program teams

- Establish and maintain program management processes and standards

- Monitor program progress and performance against objectives

- Communicate program status and issues to senior leadership

- Manage program budgets and resources

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

- Drive horizontal AI enablement operations, establishing practical ways for supported organisations to engage with AI Acceleration

- Help translate the Chief AI Transformation & Simplification Officer's strategy into aligned activities and execution plans

- Partner with horizontal leaders and teams to understand AI enablement needs and coordinate follow-through

- Coordinate enablement activities with the AI Enablement team

- Gather feedback from horizontal teams about adoption needs, barriers, and effective practices

- Support program management for priority AI initiatives

- Coordinate across horizontal teams, AI Acceleration, Finance, Engineering, and other partners to align work and address cross-team dependencies

Requirements:

- 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree

- Experience with program management methodologies and tools within an engineering environment

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with AI enablement and operations

- Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts

The base pay for this role will depend on location and experience. The expected range of pay for this role in San Jose, California is $176,500 - $262,350 annually.
