## Description

Leidos currently has an opening for a Transport Field Regional Lead position on the Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) Contract. This role involves leading a team of technical professionals, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services to the Navy.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in operations and engineering leadership, preferably with a network or transport technical background, and working knowledge of a large DOD Enterprise Network Environment. They will be responsible for:

- Leading complex IT projects and initiatives

- Managing a team of Transport Field/Base Network Engineers (FBNE)

- Supporting incident response, change management, problem management, and operations and maintenance (O&M)

- Ensuring compliance with government regulations and industry standards

- Developing and improving content for the Master Training Syllabus

- Conducting training for FBNE staff

The ideal candidate will have:

- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field

- 8+ years of prior relevant experience

- A DOD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to upgrade to a TS Security Clearance

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Experience with ITIL framework and best practices

- Working knowledge of defense-in-depth principles, network security architecture, and IT device integrity

Preferred qualifications include:

- A Top Secret Security Clearance

- A master's degree in IT Management, Engineering, or a related field

- Management experience in a NET/SEC DevOps environment

- ITIL certification/training

- Agile certifications or operational experience in an Agile environment

The pay range for this position is $92,300.00 - $166,850.00.
