## Description

We are seeking an Assistant Country Controller to join our team in Albania. This is a Fixed Term Contract for 1 year, covering maternity leave.

As an Assistant Country Controller, you will be responsible for local compliance and reporting for selected entities in Albania and Kosovo. You will work closely with the local operations teams and the centralized Finance team in Helsinki.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the Country Controller with all aspects of Wolt Albania and Kosovo Accounting

- Maintaining a fully reconciled financial position in countries

- Leading the delivery of local and global finance initiatives

- Maintaining and strengthening key internal and external relationships

- Close cooperation with other local teams and the R2R team

Requirements:

- Experience with local statutory accounting and tax compliance

- Solid background in relevant bookkeeping or accounting roles

- Degree in accounting or CPA / ACCA, or equivalent experience

- Experience with IFRS

- Demonstrable experience of autonomous problem-solving in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent MS Excel skills

- Prior experience in NetSuite is an advantage

- Fluent in Albanian and English, both spoken and written
